About Us
Moeller Furnace & Air
Moeller Furnace & Air has been the area's trusted name for HVAC design, installation, repair, and service for over 100 years. We have built a reputation for delivering the finest high-efficient heating and cooling solutions to our residential and light commercial customers.
Our team has been recognized as a Rheem Outstanding Dealer for the past 15 years in a row, and we have most recently been awarded the Reader’s Choice 2021 best HVAC company in Fort Dodge.
As we continue to grow as a company our goal remains the same; to build relationships within the city we live in and provide top-tier equipment and customer service to everyone we work with.
Our History
1912
Moeller Furnace Company was founded by Walter J. Moeller. The core of the business at this time was coal stoking furnaces and tin fabrication.
1940
Deemed an essential business during WW2 Walter continues to run the business while his brother Willie went to war later to return as a Decorated Fighter Pilot. Willie would later be brought on to be a part owner of the business.
1952
A few decades later ownership is passed from the founder to his son Walter J, around the same time that the central air conditioning units we know today became popular for most homes and businesses
1977
Fred Moeller would return to start with the business. Fred would eventually be appointed President and continue the legacy created by his grandfather and Father.
1988
Gary Moeller, son of Willie Moeller, becomes part owner of the company and works as a service technician up until this day.
2020
Nathan Moeller, son of Fred Moeller, takes ownership of the business making it a 4th generation family-owned business.
